HONDAMENDI HONTAN
Ezin duzu asmatu zenbat aldiz amestu zintudan apartamendu hunen atearen atzean. Ezin jakin zenbat ordu, zenbat egun dudan pasatu, zenbat bizi ezagutu, zenbat heriotza ilaun. Ezin duzu asmatu espazio hetsi huntan, baita ene buruan zenbat gauza den isurtu: malkoak, arno errekak, ke hodeiak, lohi uhaitzak baita irri absurdoak, batzutan kezkagarriak. Hondamendi huntan. Ezin duzu asmatu nola nintzen harritu zintzaizkidanean agertu eskaileren argian. Izenez zira aldatu. Bisaiaz, usainaz, gustuz.
Imposible saber cuántas horas, cuántos días he gastado, cuántas vidas he conocido, cuántas muertes efímeras.
IN THIS DESOLATION
You can’t imagine how many times I dreamt of you behind the door of this appartment. Impossible to know how many hours and days I’ve spent, how many lives I‘ve known, how many fleeting deaths. You can’t imagine how many things have been spilled in this closed space and in my mind: tears, rivers of wine, clouds of smoke, torrents of mud and also absurd laughs, sometimes troubling ones. In this desolation, you can’t imagine how surprised I was when you appeared in the light of the stairs. You have changed your name, your face, your smell, your taste. But I’m pretty sure, it’s you. Enter… into this desolation and vanish everything.

This is an excellent blend of dark punk rock with touches of psychedelia. It’s a dark album but at the same time quite melodic. JP Lohian has shown in the past that he is adept at experimenting with different sounds, from post-hardcore (Dut), to straight up punk rock (Kuraia); here he offers a more personal and introspective album that is a resounding success all created by himself (and his clones, I suppose) iurgi urrutia

Noisy punk rock with a skins-punishing and strings-stretching approach. Loved the melodic vocals, sung in a dialect that makes it even more special. If you like the sound of JARS from Russia, you will adore this album. Grab a copy today and check them out! Ioannis Valiakos
